Half term blues

We have just had a week off school, lucky me! Well it wasnt just me being a rebel again, the whole school had the week off as it was half term holidays. Unfortunately our week was not as action packed and adventurous as I would have hoped. Ophelia, mum and I were all very poorly. We spent most of the time inside only venturing out here and there for doc appointments and going to the chemist.

It wasn’t all doom and gloom. I was sent home with an amount of homework that would suit a 12 year old! Which led to my first little science experiment.  We had to observe growth and 3D shapes. So mummy came up with a great idea to grow some ‘egg-heads’. She took a video of how we planted the seeds and what we need to make them grow -sun and water.

Each day we made a note of our observations and measured how much ‘hair’ grew. (Please note the hair is really cress and alfalfa sprouts)

I thought I would share my first big project with you. I was proud of all the writing I had to do – my handwriting is coming along quite nicely, don’t you agree??
