Chompers and Ciara’s

BIG news….. I have a tooth!  I was coming home from my cousin Ciara’s 1st Birthday party and was sucking on a rusk when mummy noticed scratch marks on the rusk, she put two and tooth together to see a baby front tooth has pushed through my bottom gum.  Wow I am a such big girl! I can’t wait to show it off to all my friends at my baby group.

It’s been a busy few days since my last post.  Daddy was sick on Thursday and stayed home from work so I got to spend the whole day with him and mummy. We had a lazy day inside although mummy was being super organised and started to put all our things on ebay and pack up our belongings in preparation for our move. On thursday night she advertised our car for sale online and sold it Friday morning, that’s got to be some kind of record.  Friday was a beautiful warm day.  Cherry G’s best dog friends Maya and Zeus came over for a play date, so I sat outside and played in the sunshine with Sally and mummy and watched them run around the property.

Oma – that is my great grandma – drove all the way from Coffs Harbour yesterday. She came down with my aunt Doris and cousin Benjamin to spend some time with me before we go and for my cousin Ciara’s 1st birthday party, which was today.  Today was my 4th birthday party this year! It was lots of fun.  I played with Ciara’s toys and got lots of cuddles from everyone.  Ciara gave me some cool tips on how to crawl and stand, she is really good at it.  Aunty Kylie made the best cake I have ever seen, I hope mummy gets some tips for my first birthday party. Poppy came along as well and drove us home, I was exhausted and slept the whole way.

As far as I know we don’t have a lot planned for tomorrow. I imagine there will more packing and organising, a few cuddles with oma and more practise sitting up with out help from mummy or daddy.

I had a little bit of a rough night last night, being able to roll onto my tummy seemed like an awesome new trick however I never expected it to interrupt my sleep. You see, now that I can roll onto my tummy sometimes I do it in my sleep and then I am stuck as there is no more room in the cot for me to roll back (I only roll to the left).  So I scream until mummy sorts me out and then I go straight back to sleep. I thought she might be a bit grumpy this morning as I got her up 3 times,  I haven’t done that since I was 7 weeks old, I hope I learn how to control my rolling very quickly. Luckily mummy wasn’t upset with me and we had such a fun day together.

Wednesdays are my favourite day of the week. I get to play with all my little friends I met at parent classes whilst our mummy’s chit chat the afternoon away. After my morning nap, we went to Belinda and Skyler’s house to meet up with all my new friends and mummy’s.  I had strawberries for lunch and I must say, they went down a treat! Strawberries are definitely a new favourite, I hope I get them tomorrow.

After a little bit of shopping, we walked over to Park Central and sat in the sun to soak up some much needed vitamin D.  Jake and Cora joined me in the park, they are both really good at sitting, so they gave me a few tips and I practised the afternoon away.  Jake also likes to eat the grass and Cora has this awesome musical tool box toy (hint hint mummy – christmas is just round the corner).  Jakes mummy – Michelle, bought some bread along to feed the ducks, it was a pretty good way to spend the afternoon.

My furry sister

It was such a beautiful day today, my furry sister Cherry-Garcia and I got to play out in the sunshine.

 

Hello Blog world!

Hi everyone!  Thanks for checking out my blog. This is my first ever entry and I hope there will be plenty more along the way.  My mummy is helping me with my blog and we are both very new at it, so I hope we pick up all this stuff pretty quickly.

I already have some news to report, on Friday morning mummy found me in my cot laying on my tummy. Yes! I mastered a new trick, rolling from my back to my tummy. I have been able to roll from my tummy to my back for sometime now but found the reverse a little harder to master. It’s taken a few weeks but now there is no stopping me.  We set up a mat on Omi’s floor in the lounge room on Saturday night and I can get my self from one end of the mat to the other, by rolling from my back to tummy, then tummy to back.  It’s all very exciting but it does mean I don’t stay in one place for very long any more.

I think mummy managed to get my second roll on camera. Hopefully we can figure out how to post it.
